In case you need to catch up, you can read the stories from Day 1 here.

Honestly my documentation for the trip stopped at the end of Day 4. In which we went to Pub Street and enjoyed the music blasting from all these pubs and make-shift pubs.

Also met this one talented kid, who was just 14 at that time but she was going around the street selling her self-made friendship bracelet.

She got the crowd's attention with her dance moves! It may sound inappropriate knowing an underage girl going around the club/pub area but if you do see this girl, you will understand.

She's just making full experience of her own small business of selling these bracelets to tourists. Personally, I think this kid will make great things in her life. Imagine being that young and meeting people in all form (drunk and sober) from all over the world. She has great commands in English by the way.

We bought some of her bracelets and yes, that night was indeed a night to remember.

Recalling the 4 nights we spent in Siem Reap, I think we could do with less. If you are truly committed with your trip, let's say if your travel group is small, perhaps you can cover more ruins of Angkor Heritage Park in that one day.

I conclude based on my 5 days observation, that the life of people here are moderate but contented. I wasn't even worried of safety issues that much. The locals are very well-mannered.

Tourism is indeed the main income for many of the people here and it drives their development. Many parts of the city is going through development and many of what I saw was aimed at attracting tourists - hotels, apartments etc. It is also important to know that historic cities like this are fragile culturally and physically, so remember to always mind your manners when visiting ruins and clean up after yourselves.

I rate this city highly. I was told by many people countless times that this city is boring. Here's an advice, maybe they just need the right companion and not be lazy. Use your feet and go around.

SIEM REAP HAS BEEN AMAZING SINCE I STEPPED OUT OF THE PLANE.

This destination is well balanced with day and night activity. I cherish this highly as not many cities are able to offer this, not even European cities.

Our flight back to KL was that afternoon, so by 12 we already found ourselves back at the airport.

END OF TRIP.
