On the last day of our trip, we recalled on what we have managed to cover in Phnom Penh and given the short time we have in Phnom Penh, we did pretty well on covering the highlights. So on our last day we, just took our time relaxing at the hostel and also going around nearby area of the city.

Of course, as part of our travel routine is to track on our expenses by the end of the trip. This may sound unimportant but it has been really helpful to estimate future travel expenses.

We noticed that around Phnom Penh, there’s this one café called BROWN Coffee that has a lot of branches scattered throughout the city. It’s your usual coffee, cakes and pastries hangout place apart from Starbucks and Costa. Yeah even they have their own Costa Coffee unlike us in KL. BROWN Coffee has commendable coffees and also some good food to enjoy.

We didn’t cover any of the shopping places that much apart from the city’s market which have your usual souvenirs and what not.

I personally feel that one should be in Phnom Penh for the history and culture experience not so much for the shopping part. Maybe next destination we will cover on that and by “we” is me; Count Extra.

All in all we did have a lot of fun exploring the city and 3 days is definitely sufficient enough to cover the main highlights of Phnom Penh city centre but if you do stay longer, you’ll get the chance of exploring the outskirts of Phnom Penh.

One can actually say; after knowing Sir Cheapskate for more than 15 years, this is only our second duo trip together (Read: Hashtag bromance) and we look forward to our next travels!

We are aiming to end the year 2018 broke or die trying…

END OF TRIP.
